Post-Production Supervisor
Definition
The Post-Production Supervisor is the person responsible for overseeing all aspects of the post-production process, from the end of principal photography through the delivery of the final product. They manage the post-production schedule and budget, coordinate between the various post-production departments (editing, sound, VFX, color), liaise with vendors and facilities, and ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and to the required technical specifications.

The producer calls the Post-Production Supervisor: "We've just been told that the streaming platform needs the final delivery two weeks earlier than originally planned. Can you revise the post schedule and tell me what we need to do to hit that new deadline?"
