A Stakeholder is any individual, group, or organization that has an interest in or is affected by the outcome of a project. In creative projects, stakeholders typically include the client, the creative team, the marketing team, the legal team, the finance team, and any other parties who have a role in reviewing, approving, or using the final creative output. Effective stakeholder management — identifying all stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations, and communicating with them appropriately — is essential for the success of any creative project.
The project manager creates a stakeholder map for the new campaign: "I've identified eight key stakeholders for this project. The primary stakeholders are the client's Marketing Director and Brand Manager, who will be the main decision-makers.
