The Call Sheet is the official daily schedule document for a film or video production. Prepared by the Second Assistant Director and approved by the First AD and the production manager, it is distributed to all cast and crew members at the end of each shooting day. The call sheet specifies the scenes to be filmed the following day, the call time for each cast member and department, the location address, the day's schedule, a weather forecast, and emergency contact information. It is the single most important communication document on a production.
The production coordinator sends an email to the entire crew: "Please find tomorrow's Call Sheet attached. Note that we have a 6 AM crew call due to the sunrise exterior. All department heads should be on set by 5:30 AM to ensure we are ready to shoot at first light."
