Agile Methodology is an iterative approach to project management and product development that emphasizes flexibility, collaboration, and the rapid delivery of working outputs. Originally developed for software development, Agile has been widely adopted by creative teams and agencies. The core principles of Agile include breaking work into short, time-boxed iterations called "sprints" (typically two weeks), holding regular team meetings (called "standups" or "scrums"), and continuously reviewing and adapting the plan based on feedback and changing requirements.
A creative director implements Agile practices in their team: "We're moving to a two-week sprint cycle. At the start of each sprint, we'll agree on what we can realistically deliver in that period. At the end of each sprint, we'll review what we've produced and plan the next sprint. This should give us much better visibility into our capacity and help us respond more quickly to changing client priorities."
