Founded in 2009, Daufenbach Camera is a professional motion picture camera rental house based in Chicago. Specializing in bringing HD, RED, and 3D cinema to the Midwest, the company offers a comprehensive inventory of cameras, lenses, support gear, and accessories. Chicago Studio City is an independent film studio featuring 8 sound stages that reach 40 feet to the grid and range from 6,000 to 30,000 square feet, for a combined total stage space of 146,000 square feet. The facility offers stages that have production-adjacent fully furnished office spaces with large bullpens and suite-style executive offices and 700 parking spots on a 13-acre property. Since 1979, CSC has been providing studio space, equipment, and more to thousands of commercial and feature film productions. The studio is centrally located less than 10 miles from both major airports (O’Hare and Midway), 15 minutes from downtown Chicago, and directly off of the I-290 Expressway.
