Founded in 2014 by Erica Duffy, Camera Ambassador stands as one of only three women-owned and operated equipment rental houses nationwide. Our vision transcends the traditional rental house model - we're building a vibrant community of artists by providing high-quality film equipment paired with genuine, personalized support. Based just across the railroad tracks from The Midwest’s largest sound stage, CineSpace Studios, we serve productions of all sizes across the Midwest and beyond. What sets us apart isn't just our extensive inventory - though we pride ourselves on being a one-stop-shop for everything from cameras and lenses to grip trucks and specialty items like unique filtration and gimbals - It's our commitment to being more than just a rental facility. We're a hub for creativity, offering regular workshops, feedback sessions, screenings, and educational opportunities that help filmmakers grow and thrive.
