Craft Services (often abbreviated as "Crafty") refers to the food and beverage service provided on a film or video production set throughout the day. Unlike catering (which provides full hot meals during designated meal breaks), Craft Services provides a continuous supply of snacks, coffee, tea, water, and light refreshments that crew members can access at any time. Maintaining a well-stocked Craft Services table is considered essential for crew morale and productivity on long shooting days.
Between setups, a crew member asks, "Has anyone seen the Crafty table? I need a coffee before we start the next setup." The production assistant points toward the corner of the stage: "It's around the corner, past the grip truck."
