Opening our doors in 2021, we wanted to inject Austin with a rental experience that prioritized equipment quality and customer service. What started with a few personal trailers and a storage unit, has evolved into one of Austin’s largest rental houses with a fleet of custom vehicles filled with top of the line grip, lighting and production equipment. A true all in one solution that all productions in Austin can rely on.

Aduro Studios & Film started in 2011 with humble beginnings as an owner/operator service provider and equipment rental service out of our garage. Several years, one shanty, and a warehouse later we landed at our current home in 2018. Being able to custom build the unit to our specifications allowed us to apply over a decade of industry experience into designing a space that facilitates efficient and convenient production while maintaining a high level of crew comfort. Aduro translates in Latin to "kindle, light, burn," representative of our commitment, mission, and passion to the film industry. We aim to kindle the creative fire in filmmakers, light their way by providing comprehensive professional guidance, and set ablaze a burning passion for creating art. We believe it takes a village to create great memories and our goal is to provide meaningful guidance to others. A part of the Texas film industry for over a decade, the Aduro team is proud to be a part of the quickly growing and ever-changing community. Texas Grip is an Austin based film and lighting company specializing in still photography production. We have a large inventory of cameras, lighting, grip, and digital equipment for even the largest photography productions. Founded by Taylor Jones, Texas Grip was created to handle the ever-growing needs of the Austin photo community and traveling productions that choose to work in the central Texas area. Taylor and his wife Gretchen work hand in hand with photographers, producers, and assistants to make sure their shoots run smoothly and that every detail is taken care of.

Sound Stage on St. Elmo is one of Austin’s premier independent studios, located in South Austin, Texas. It has established itself as one of Austin’s most affordable and reliable cycloramas for film production, photography, and creative events. The studio offers a 2,100 sq ft production space featuring a 180º pre-lit cyc wall and a 25’ ft wide pre-lit green screen. Amenities include a fully furnished green room, office and conference space, kitchenette, and a set build/prop workshop on-site. The facility is designed to support a wide range of creative projects, providing both the space and the necessary equipment to bring ideas to life. In addition to the physical space, Sound Stage on St. Elmo offers gear rentals and has a complete voiceover studio on-site equipped with top-tier hardware and software. The team is dedicated to facilitating any production needs, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for all clients.

ATX GRIP is Austin Texas’ most diverse, and experienced grip, lighting, and specialty rental house. We offer Film, Video Production Equipment Rentals, Grip and Lighting, Electric and Fuel Camera Cars, Camera Support. ATX GRIP relies on the most advanced pre-visualization technology to carefully plan and coordinate camera movement strategies on the arm car. They provide customized grip and vehicle rigs.
