Castle Studios and ABQ Castle Studios are modern production facilities designed for today's filmmakers, offering fully equipped stages, elite cinema gear, and an expansive virtual backlot that allows productions to shoot anywhere in the world without leaving the stage. Operating in full virtual production since 2007, they have developed workflows that merge real-time rendering with professional filmmaking. Castle Studios holds patents covering filming with a video game engine and their proprietary CastleVision system. This technology allows directors to see the final composite image live on stage while shooting. Actors perform inside environments that may not physically exist, yet appear fully realized in real time, with camera movement, lighting, and perspective responding dynamically.
