About JML Rental
JML Rental is the rental arm of JML Productions LLC and provides film, video, and photo equipment rental as well as expendables sales in Savannah, Georgia. Founded by a SCAD alumni in 2016, JML is the oldest and largest locally owned rental house in Savannah specializing in film and video. Their inventory includes lighting (HMI, LED, tungsten, Kino Flo), grip (overheads, flags, stands, car rigging, dollies), electrical distribution, camera systems (ARRI Alexa, RED Epic, Sony), camera accessories (monitors, wireless video, follow focus, filters), camera support (fluid heads, tripods, dollies, jibs), tow plant generators, production support, and grip trucks. They have supplied primary run-of-show equipment for features ranging from $10,000 to $2M+ budgets and national broadcast TV commercial projects. JML offers special weekend rental rates for current SCAD students and can open the shop outside normal hours for a nominal fee. Their lift gate equipped 4-ton and 5-ton trucks can support features, and their Sprinter Van is ideal for smaller projects. Rentals and expendables from JML Productions are eligible for the Savannah Entertainment Production Incentives — an additional 10% rebate on top of Georgia's 30% incentive.
