Département Caméra (now part of Grandé Caméra / Grandé Studios) is a major equipment rental house based in Montréal, Quebec. Founded in 2005, it specializes in providing high-quality camera equipment, lighting, grip, and studio spaces to a diverse range of clients in the film, television, and advertising industries. In 2016, Département Caméra and Cinépool were acquired by Vidéo MTL, which then rebranded as Grandé Studios. Today, Grandé Studios is a comprehensive production hub offering the latest models from major brands like ARRI, SONY, RED, PANASONIC, and CANON. They provide an extensive inventory of digital cinema cameras, DSLR cameras, prime and zoom lenses (including anamorphic and full-frame options), as well as state-of-the-art sound stages ranging from 1,200 to over 21,000 square feet across multiple campuses in Montréal. With a strong reputation in the industry, Grandé Studios caters to feature films, documentaries, reality TV, and broadcast productions, offering a true "one-stop shop" experience for camera, lighting, and post-production needs.
